Bastidas P., Silvio Betancourth G., Carlos Preciado Q., Cindy Amelia Peña R., Eduardo Reyes C., Rafael In order to identify the assisted pollination period and the harvest cycle’s frequency of the OxG hybrid (Elaeis oleifera x Elaeis guineensis) Corpoica Elmira, four assisted pollination and harvest cycles were assesed with a completly randomized block design with four treatments, in order to obtain high amounts of oil concentration in the bunches. The assisted pollination and harvest cycles of 21-days produced 23.9% oil-bunch ratio (lab results) as the highest extraction ratio compared to other treatments. The following variables: oil to wet mesocarp ratio of parthenocarpic fruit (AcPFFP), oil to bunch ratio based on parthenocarpic fruit (AcRFP), and oil to bunch ratio (AcR), are sensitive to harvest cycles, because they are an indicator of ripeness and harvest quality. Con el propósito de identificar un periodo de polinización asistida y establecer la frecuencia de los ciclos de cosecha en los híbridos OxG (Elaeis oleifera x Elaeis guineensis) Corpoica Elmira, se evaluó cuatro ciclos de polinización asistida y cosecha, utilizando un diseño de bloques completos al azar con 4 tratamientos para determinar una alta relación de aceite en racimo. La frecuencia de polinización asistida y cosecha por ciclos de 21 días obtuvo un 23,9% de aceite en racimo (laboratorio) con la mayor tasa de extracción en relación a los demás tratamientos.
