The process is described as participative and conflictive, involving a bottom-up dynamic and a trial and error strategy. This practice, in turn, gives way to a process of organisational learning. In this perspective, the fundamental management goal consists in achieving the institutionalisation of the given promoted activity, whereby art and culture are the instruments used to promote the legitimacy required to achieve such institutionalisation. The fostering of social value is one of the main impacts of this alterative Arts Management model. In order to describe the model, we present three cases from Latin America, two from Colombia and one from Brazil.
