In this work, one proposes an alternative methodology that allows rescuing the social and cultural context of the women in stage postpartum in order to obtain more elements on her conduct. It appears as principal axle of boarding, the qualitative investigation. On the one hand, one tries to rescue the aspects sociodemographic by means of an analysis disintegrated of each of the variables. And for other one, to rescue the sociocultural factors, to be considering the oral expressions of the women's principal axles to identify the manifestation of the depression in the relation mother - child. The above mentioned methodological proposal will allow to rescue indications of the presence of the depression and / or possible factors of risk. Para el estudio de la depresión perinatal se utilizan por lo general metodologías que consideran meramente aspectos psicoanalíticos que están enfocados en el área clínica, pero que, en algunos casos, dejan de lado aspectos sociales. En este trabajo se propone una metodología alternativa que permita rescatar el contexto social y cultural de las mujeres en etapa posparto, con el fin de obtener más elementos sobre su conducta. También se plantea la investigación cualitativa como eje principal de abordaje. Por un lado, se pretende rescatar los aspectos sociodemográficos mediante un análisis disgregado de las variables y, por otro, redimir factores socioculturales, considerando las expresiones orales de mujeres para identificar la depresión en la relación madre-hijo(a).
