Las universidades requieren para su evolución la integración de las Bases de datos como apoyo en la toma de decisiones, de esta manera en la evaluación docente mejoró la relación con los estudiantes, permitiendo ser más competitivos, mejorando los procesos internos, minimizando costos e incrementando utilidades, es así como la Universidad Santo Tomás, Seccional Tunja ha empleado el proyecto de Inteligencia de ne­gocios al proceso de evaluación Docente, que permite a sus Directivos utilizar la tecnología Data Warehouse y Olap en el análisis de Infor­mación generadas por las Bases de datos, una vez implementado se concluyó que se puede hacer seguimiento académico a cada uno de los docentes, de las facultades y de la universidad en general detallando su comportamiento por cada uno de sus Ítems y características.La minería de Datos consiste de algoritmos que buscan “conocimiento” de diferentes bases de Datos que tienen la historia de los docentes du­rante su transcurso por la Universidad. El objetivo del conocimiento es prevenir a los Directivos sobre situaciones irregulares, anomalías e incluso acontecimientos negativos no detectados con anticipación. Les universités requièrent pour son évolution l’intégration des Bases de données comme appui dans la prise de décisions de cette façon dans l’évaluation enseignante j’améliore la relation avec les étudiants, en permettant d’être plus compétitifs, en améliorant les processus internes, en minimisant des prix et en augmentant des utilités, il est ainsi que l’Université Saint Tomas seccional Tunja a employé le projet d’Intelligence d’affaires au processus d’évaluation Enseignan­te, qui permet à ses Cadres dirigeants d’utiliser la technologie Date Warehouse et Olap dans l’analyse d’Information générées par les Bases de données, une fois mis en application on a fini que l’on peut faire un suivi académique à chacun des enseignants, des facultés et de l’université en général en détaillant son comportement par chacun de ses Articles et des caractéristiques.Le travail des mines de Données consiste des algorithmes qui cherchent “la connaissance” de différentes bases de Données qui ont l’histoire des enseignants durant son cours à l’Université.
