We aim to identify how experiences, memories, heritage, and local cultures are handled in the production of school knowledge, based on the research work in basic education institutions in seven municipalities in the province of Huila. For the collection of the information, we work with various documents and oral interviews with fifteen teachers. Theoretically, we dialogue with decolonial epistemology, interculturality, oral history, memory, cultural heritage, and local history. In this article, we present some narratives about the contents taught concerning local knowledge. The article presents an introduction, a brief discussion about interculturality and education, geohistorical records on Angola, memories and narratives, and final reflections. Este artículo es el resultado de una investigación postdoctoral realizada en el Instituto Superior de Ciencias da Educação (Isced) de Lubango en Angola. Buscamos identificar cómo se gestionan experiencias, memorias, patrimonio y culturas locales en la producción de conocimiento escolar a partir de la investigación del trabajo en instituciones de educación básica de siete municipios de la provincia de Huíla. Para la recolección de la información, se trabaja con diversos documentos y entrevistas orales con quince profesores. Teóricamente dialogamos con la epistemología descolonial, la interculturalidad, la Historia Oral, la memoria, el patrimonio cultural y la historia local. En este artículo presentamos algunas narrativas sobre los contenidos impartidos en relación al conocimiento local. El artículo consta de introducción, interculturalidad y educación, partituras geohistóricas sobre Angola, memorias y narrativas y reflexiones finales. O presente artigo resulta de pequisa de pós-doutorado realizada no Instituto Superior de Ciencias da Educação (Isced) de Lubango em Angola. Objetivamos identificar como experiências, memórias, patrimônios e culturas locais são agenciados na produção dos saberes escolares a partir da investigação do trabalho em instituições de educação básica em sete municípios da Provincia da Huíla. Para a coleta das informações, trabalhamos com documentos diversos e entrevistas orais com quinze professore/as. Teoricamente dialogamos com epistemologia decolonial, interculturalidade, História Oral, memória, patrimônio cultural e história local. Neste artigo apresentamos algumas narrativas sobre os conteudos ensinados na relação com os saberes locais.
