The Creoles inherited, then, the social Christian order, with the target as catequizador of Indians and owner of extensive dominions. But the war filed the devotion for Spain, preserving, nevertheless, the revenues of conquering nobles. Then one tried to erase the realistic and Latin past, with liberal institutions and new surnames. At the end of the event fragile colonial conditions stayed, really, with castes and regions, petrified and isolated, from the same conquest.  En este artículo se pretende explicar cómo la cultura imperial y el talante prepotente y racista ibérico ocasionó la ruptura con la madre patria y luego la guerra. Los criollos heredaron, entonces, el orden social cristiano, con el blanco como catequizador de indios y propietario de dilatados señoríos. Pero la guerra archivó la devoción por España, preservando, no obstante, las rentas de nobles conquistadores. Luego se procuró borrar el pasado realista y latino, con instituciones liberales y nuevos apellidos. Al final del evento quedaron, realmente, frágiles estados coloniales, con castas y regiones, petrificadas y aisladas, desde la misma conquista. Este artigo tem como objetivo explicar como a cultura imperial e o temperamento arrogante e racista ibérico causou a ruptura com a Espanha e depois a guerra. Os crioulos herdaram, então, a ordem social cristã, com o homem branco como catequizador de índios e proprietário de domínios dilatados. Mas a guerra fechou à devoção pela Espanha, preservando, no entanto, a renda dos conquistadores nobres. Depois se tentou limpar o passado realista e Latino, com as instituições liberais e novos sobrenomes.
