Emotional Display Rules: A Preliminary Study of an Evaluation Procedure and Analysis of its Implications

Just one of the 11 participants used EDR and the others showed an inconsistent pattern of responses in terms of coherence between felt emotion and reported action, preference for whether or not to communicate the felt emotion and justification for communicating or masking the emotion. Implications inherent to the use of hypothetical scenarios are discussed and the relevance of the concept of rule governed behavior in the design of strategies intended to evaluate emotional displays is pointed out. 2011-06-21 2020-06-16T22:19:21Z 2020-06-16T22:19:21Z info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Artículo revisado por pares https://revistas.usantotomas.edu.co/index.php/diversitas/article/view/139 10.15332/s1794-9998.2011.0001.01 http://hdl.handle.net/11634/25363 spa https://revistas.usantotomas.edu.co/index.php/diversitas/article/view/139/199 https://revistas.usantotomas.edu.co/index.php/diversitas/article/view/139/200 application/pdf text/html Universidad Santo Tomás, Bogotá, Colombia Diversitas; Vol. 7 Núm. 1 (2011); 13-25 2256-3067 1794-9998 Diversitas; Vol. 7 No. 1 (2011); 13-25 |
