Nevertheless, the lack of stadards, as well as the long term of amortizaion of this type of solutions has not allowed a wide implantation of thes ones. In tis article, an analysis of the telephony of Telecommunications to determine the reuirements in the convergence of telephony IP as an alternative a opposed to the network of traditional voice. In order to achieve this an evaluating model is developed in three stage Sizing and design the network of Telephony in a arameter way. Analysis of Telephony IP considering different platforms, with the economic evaluation of the alternativa, and finally, determinationof the operative viability of the area of Privte Telephony. La integración de la voz y los datos en una isma red no es una idea novedosa pues en las últimas décadas han surgido soluciones de distintos fabricantes y operadores, permitiendo la utilización de las redes WAN de datos de las empresas (típicamente conexiones punto apunto y frame relay) para la transmisión del tráfico de voz. Sin embargo, la falta de estándares, así como el largo plazo de amortización de este tipo de soluciones no han permitido una amplia implantación de éstas. En este artículo, se realiza un análisis de la red de datos y de telefonía de na empresa nacional de Telecomunicaciones para determinar los requerimientos en la convergencia de telefonía IP como alternativa frente a la red d voz tradicional.
