%0 Trabajo de grado (Bachelor Thesis) %A Murillo Carvajal, Daniela %D 2019 %G Español (Spanish) %T Oportunidades de los productores de cafés especiales en Risaralda en relación con las certificaciones internacionales para exportar %U https://hdl.handle.net/10901/17810 %X Los cafés especiales son una alternativa para que los productores de éste grano en el departamento de Risaralda, generen valor a su producto y encuentran oportunidades en otros mercados, que valoran los altos estándares de calidad y las características únicas que tiene un café especial, las cuales deben ser garantizadas por agencias certificadoras; si bien es cierto que se requiere mayor inversión de recursos para el productor dado los altos estándares de calidad que estos modelos exigen, ese esfuerzo logra ser compensado al obtener un mayor precio en el mercado, tanto interno como externo. En Colombia se certifica y comercializa el Café Sostenible en cuatro categorías, amigable con el medio ambiente, de contenido social, café orgánico y bueno por dentro, los requerimientos para las exportaciones dependen del país destino, la certificaciones o sellos dan información al consumidor sobre las características del café, especialmente en cuanto a su origen, producción y distribución. La intención del siguiente trabajo es dar a conocer los diferentes tipos de certificaciones internacionales de café especial, haciendo énfasis en aquellas exigidas para las exportaciones en Colombia, por último, se presentan los beneficios que brinda el departamento de Risaralda a los productores de café especial. Special coffees are an alternative for producers of this grain in the department of Risaralda, generate value to their product and find opportunities in other markets, which value the high quality standards and the unique characteristics of a special coffee, which they must be guaranteed by certifying agencies; Although it is true that greater investment of resources is required for the producer given the high quality standards that these models demand, this effort is compensated by obtaining a higher price in the market, both internally and externally. In Colombia, Sustainable Coffee is certified and marketed in four categories, friendly to the environment, of social content, organic coffee and good inside, the requirements for exports depend on the destination country, the certifications or stamps give information to the consumer about the characteristics of coffee, especially in terms of its origin, production and distribution. The intention of the following work is to present the different types of international certifications of special coffee, emphasizing those required for exports in Colombia, and finally, the benefits offered by the department of Risaralda to the producers of special coffee are presented.
