Principle of not being judged twice for the same fact (Non Bis in Idem). Literature is invoked, political constitutions of several countries are mentioned, among them Colombia, international instruments and pronouncements of the Human Rights Committee of the UN. Jürgen Habermas is quoted. Content of the principle Non Bis in Idem and its main objectives, which are legal security and material justice. Special Justice for Peace (JEP) in Colombia as a product of the Colombian State-FARC Peace Agreement and the principle of not being tried twice for the same fact in labor law. We have written in this paper an analysis about the principle of not being judged twice for the same fact, known with the Latin aphorism Non Bis in Idem. For this we have taken the first novel of the great English writer Agatha Christie, teacher of crime and mystery: "The Mysterious Case of Styles", written in 1920.
Principio de no ser juzgado dos veces por el mismo hecho (Non Bis in Ídem). Se invoca literatura, se citan constituciones políticas de varios países, entre ellos Colombia, instrumentos internacionales y pronunciamientos del Comité de Derechos Humanos de la ONU. Se cita a Jürgen Habermas. Contenido del principio Non Bis in Ídem y sus principales objetivos, cuales son la seguridad jurídica y la justicia material. Justicia Especial para la Paz (JEP) en Colombia como producto del Acuerdo de Paz Estado colombiano-FARC y el principio de no ser juzgado dos veces por el mismo hecho en el derecho laboral.      Hemos escrito en este trabajo un análisis sobre el principio de no ser juzgado dos veces por el mismo hecho, conocido con el aforismo latino Non Bis in Ídem. Para esto hemos tomado la primera novela de la gran escritora inglesa Agatha Christie, maestra del crimen y del misterio: “El Misterioso Caso de Styles”, escrita en 1920.
