For this reason, this article talks about the advances in the management of software development projects using an agile methodology and those that have applied the CMMI-DEV model, both nationally and internationally. La competitividad de las organizaciones de desarrollo de software exigen el conocimiento de las diferentes metodologías existentes en el mercado, para así adoptar la que conlleve al éxito en la culminación del proyecto teniendo en cuenta las condiciones de calidad propuestas para un producto de software.
