Sumario:The physical load is a factor that influences directly and indirectly the job performance. The indiscriminate allocation of positions or occupations without considering the morpho-functional level and biomechanical requirements of each job is a frequent cause of musculoskeletal disorders in the worker. The aim of this study was to evaluate the postural physical load at work as a determining factor in the development of musculoskeletal disorders. Methodology: Descriptive, correlational study, in 48 office workers of a poultry company. For the evaluation of the physical load the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) method was applied, while for assessing musculoskeletal symptoms we applied the Nordic questionnaire. Results: The 64% of workers showed a medium level of risk due to postural physical load and 50% had musculoskeletal symptoms. However, no statistically significant evidence between postural physical load in relation to musculoskeletal symptoms was found. Conclusions: Although the statistical evidence is not significant, it is necessary the intervention over the conditions to which it is exposed the office personnel in the poultry company.
