Sumario:The phenomenon of globalization has been a process of great changes and deep transformations in all sectors worldwide, these transformations have permeated the field of higher education in a dizzying way, and its impact has been evident. The Institutions of Higher Education (IES), in addition to taking on the challenge of training professional, qualified and competent human resources for society. Considering the global panorama, it is unavoidable to know that the area of ​​health sciences is not alien to this situation, due to the fact that more and more a variety of publications of different kinds are being glimpsed; from some professions more than in others, but the phenomenon is evident. However, in developing countries, a paradox is often observed that is important to highlight, and that while in institutions of higher education there is a dedication to the production of new knowledge, health institutions have been slow in their development. utilization and use for the improvement of the processes and welfare results. The current situation in relation to the careful interest in scientific production in large quantities has generated many biases in the quality of them.
