To this end, it presents key aspects of the Public to a businessman, discusses the various factors involved in the launch and display a list of strategic fields or areas in which to play the public accountant, acting as employer. At the end you will find the appropriate conclusions. El presente artículo muestra, soportado en cifras del observatorio del Ministerio de Educación, la tendencia que hasta el momento ha predominado de formar contadores para el empleo, cuestiona tal hecho y presenta ideas para reforzar su formación como empresario, a fin de prepararlo para que en el futuro sea menos dependiente. Para el efecto, presenta aspectos claves para hacer del contador público un empresario, analiza los diversos factores que intervienen en el emprenderismo y muestra una relación de campos o áreas estratégicas en las cuales se puede desempeñar el contador público, en calidad de empresario.
