Sumario:This work describes the construction development of a 24 item instrument based on the marketing service discipline which is used to measure the quality perception of the education service by part of the students. It starts with the conceptualization an operation of the quality of education and the methodology used in the research’s development. It includes the process used in the research’s construction and the refining of the multi-item scale to measure the referred product. Later, evidence is shown about the validity and fidelity of the built instrument proposed for the measurement and it was applied to the students of the last three semesters of the careers offered by the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (UPTC) seccional Duitama. Finally, a data and results analysis is shown and it concludes with some reflections that deepen and/or, can be a reference for future studies on the topic.
