Sumario: | Among other characteristics social movements exhibit a lack of institutionalization. Based on doctrine, the student movements of the period 1990-1991 in Colombia can be defined as social movements. Student movements in the Colombian constitutional process had two clearly identified origins (TPSC and MEC) but the sight of “We can still save Colombia” prevailed and it became the well-known “Seventh Ballot Movement”. Te disappearance of the student movement after the promulgation of the 1991 Constitution still raises complex and contradictory explanations. Keywords: Seventh Ballot, “We can still save Colombia” Movement, “Student Movement for the Constituent”, Colombian National Constituent Assembly, Colombian Student Movement. |
