Sumario:This article states that the relationship between law and development has multiple ways that in some case are not complementary. In that sense in a first moment the law was an instrument in order to get development and social change. More recently the neoinstitutional economics states that a right political and legal framework creates an environment to promote markets and by this way economic growth.
