It is for this reason that a sample of 43 university teachers was applied a macro-questionnaire (QPW-5) which included stops on Conditions of Work, Labor Welfare General, Burnout and Engagement, where a mixed methodology or analysis was conducted qualitative quantified from a textual analysis and multiple correspondence specifically Item 16 of QPW-5 and a semi-structured interview where he deepened about words related to the meanings of work. The information obtained was able to demonstrate negative positive conceptions related more to the role, related to working conditions (stress, exhaustion, overload) and problematic and ambiguous situations they are faced university faculty on the stage of the New Public Management. Las transformaciones generadas en el mundo del trabajo han producido cambios en sus condiciones y sus significados, lo que ha llevado a preguntarse ¿Cuál es el significado actual que los profesores le dan a su trabajo? lo cual llevó a plantear como objetivo de esta investigación encontrar los conceptos centrales de este. Es por esa razón que a una muestra de 43 docentes universitarios se le aplicó un macro-cuestionario (QPW-5) que incluyó escalas sobre condiciones de trabajo, bienestar laboral general, burnout y engagement, donde se realizó una metodología mixta o análisis cuali-cuanti a partir de un análisis textual y de correspondencia múltiple específicamente del ítem 16 del QPW-5 y una entrevista semi estructurada, donde se profundizó acerca de las palabras relacionadas a los significados del trabajo. La información obtenida logró evidenciar concepciones positivas relacionadas más al rol, negativas relacionadas a las condiciones laborales,(estrés, agotamiento, sobrecarga) y las situaciones problemáticas y ambiguas a las que se ve enfrentado el profesorado universitario en el escenario de la Nueva Gestión Pública. É por esta razão que uma amostra de 43 professores universitários foi aplicado um questionário macro-(QPW-5), que incluiu pára Condições de Trabalho, Trabalho bem-estar geral, Burnout e engagement, onde uma metodologia mista ou análise qualitativa foi realizada cuanti a partir de uma análise textual e de correspondência múltipla especificamente o item 16 QPW-5 e uma entrevista semi-estruturada, onde aprofundei sobre palavras relacionadas ao significado do trabalho.
