| Sumario: | Por medio de este trabajo es posible visualizar la operación del transporte de carga en Autollanos S.A; en el trayecto Bogotá-Yopal permitiendo identificar las características y variables que intervienen en el proceso logístico que lleva a cabo la compañía.
Para realizar el análisis se utiliza la investigación de operaciones como herramienta de ingeniería permitiendo observar los puntos críticos de la operación buscando la formulación de políticas de mejora del sistema logístico de la compañía en las variables de mayor relevancia para la misma como lo son: costos, distancias y capacidad utilizada de los vehículos propios.
By means of this paper it is possible to visualize the operation of the freight management in the company Autollanos S.A during the journey Bogota-Yopal allowing to identify the characteristics and variables involved in the logistics process carried out by the company.
The company has operations in various departments of Colombia however the tour toward the eastern plains represents the greatest demand and quantity of cargo that is why it is important to take as the object of study in this geographical area.
To perform the analysis uses the operations research as an engineering tool allowing to observe the critical points of the operation looking for the formulation of policies to improve the logistics system of the company in the variables of greater relevance to the same as are: costs, distances and used capacity of the own vehicles
