Se evaluó la influencia del café con cafeína (150 mg/100 ml) en la cognición mediante, tiempo de reacción, memoria semántica y vigilancia, en 60 estudiantes universitarias. Se utilizó un diseño factorial de medidas repetitivas 3 x 2 x 2. Inicialmente, se evaluó el grupo con tres pruebas, seguidamente se aleatorizaron los grupos, al primero se le dio café con cafeína (150 mg/100 ml), al segundo café descafeinado y al último agua de hierbas. Después de 30 minutos del consumo, se realizó la medición de la cognición de igual forma que la primera.
