En el presente estudio monográfico se describe el estado actual de desarrollo de Síndrome de Fatiga Crónica (SFC). Esta nueva problemática aqueja a personas con niveles elevados de estrés y dentro de sus características personales se puede evidenciar que son muy exigentes y perfeccionistas. Esta revisión tiene como objetivo brindar alternativas conceptuales que faciliten el reconocimiento de esta problemática desde la perspectiva bio-psico-social. La etiología se presenta de acuerdo con las teorías biológicas, psicológicas y sociales. También se hace una discriminación de los síntomas más reconocidos.
