Este fenómeno ha sido particularmente difícil de definir por cuanto el término “terrorismo” es usado de una manera irresponsable explicando un sin número de actos, que muchos casos son actos criminales comunes. Convirtiendo la palabra en una de las más politizadas, utilizada para descalificar o incluso demonizar al oponente.
