Sumario:This article submits an analytic study about the relationship between European and Inter American human rights systems, giving special relevance to the existing dialogue between both tribunals. The research problem tries to identify the connection points and divergences between the two sceneries of protection of human rights. The methodology is the one of comparative and doctrinal analysis regarding both systems, predominately from the view of its organic structure and functions. It is intended to highlight the fact that there has been, in jurisprudence, a relationship that allows the implementation of certain contributions from the European tribunal to the Inter American Court.
