Following this, the chapter describes the framing effects typology developed by Levin, Schneider, and Gaeth (Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, 76(2), 149–188, 1998): risky choice, attribute and goal framing. The chapter then reviews framing effects research in operations management and discusses potential research topics on framing effects in humanitarian operations.
