Iris depigmentation by wasp sting
This study provides experimental proof of ocular lesions produced by the poison of wasp stings, including loss of iris pigment with heterocromia. Further studies with histochemical and electron microscopy techniques as well as selective studies of hymenoptera poison components are proposed.
